Our weekly Mindful Life, Happy Life Course explores different topics relevant to modern life living to reveal ways in which we can better understand our life and ourselves, create more mindful and joyful moments in our day, and learn about how the Buddha’s teachings can be applied to integrate our spiritual practice in our daily lives. Ashtanga Yoga is an ancient practice, passed down through thousands of generations. It is a practice that develops strength and flexibility in body and mind. The fundamentals of Ashtanga Yoga will be taught in these classes with instructions tailored for the class. The classes are small and therefore direct coaching will be provided to assist participants learn this art. The Healing Meditation classes will explore different kinds of Buddhist practice, including guided meditation, walking meditation, sutra reading, touching the earth practice, lying down meditation, and question and answer discussions. Following the meditation class is the qigong class from 4-5pm.
