These Children’s Mindfulness Classes are for children and their parents to discover ways to bring mindfulness and kindness into each other’s lives, their hearts, and into their home. The Healing Meditation classes will explore different kinds of Buddhist practice, including guided meditation, walking meditation, sutra reading, touching the earth practice, lying down meditation, and question and answer discussions. Following the meditation class is the qigong class from 4-5pm.
Healing Breath Qigong is a practice that helps us maintain good health, live longer, aging painlessly, prevent illness, heal naturally, and lightening up our spirit. These classes bring in a holistic wellbeing practice that incorporates mindfulness, meditation, slow flowing movements, deep rhythmic breathing, and developing a calm meditative state of mind. These qigong classes start after the Healing Meditation Class that commences on the same day at 2pm. A perfect combination to attend both classes.
