Four Elements+2 Meditation

Most people have heard about the four primary elements that make up this physical universe. They are Earth, Wind, Fire and Water. However, have you heard of the elements of space and consciousness as taught by the Buddha? In a two-part series, Jeff Oliver will give instructions on the Four Elements+2 meditation, and how it allows us to deeply understand ourselves, and the world around and within us.
In the Friday session, we will begin with a guided meditation on the four elements, followed by open discussion and an opportunity to ask questions, which will prepare participants for the workshop that will commence the following day. In the Saturday Workshop, Jeff will teach on the Four Elements + 2, and through various exercises, participants will develop an understanding of the Elements deeply through personal experience. Although attendance at the Friday session is not compulsory for attendance at the Saturday workshop, it is highly recommended that participants attend both workshops for full benefit.
About the Speaker: The course will be led by Jeff Oliver, who authored “Forgiveness for Everyone”. This is Jeff’s second book, which lays out a practical guide for practising forgiveness with a foundation of mindfulness and wisdom. Jeff Oliver is from the Central Coast and has 27 years experience in Vipassana meditation, 9 of which he was a Buddhist monk in the Theravada Tradition. Now he continues as a lay teacher of mindfulness, wisdom, forgiveness and unconditional love, both here at home and internationally. Jeff is a full-time Dharma Teacher and only lives on donations.
