This dynamic one-hour workshop will immerse parents, carers, and their preschool children, into the imaginative world of “The Mindful Dinosaurs”; truly inspiring and courageous baby dinosaurs, who triumph over adversity through mindfulness. By being an integral part of the stories unfolding, each child has opportunity to experience mindfulness within a relatable, concrete, and accessible paradigm, and to enjoy the inherent awareness, presence and emotional resilience which permeates this truly enlightening workshop.
“The Mindful Dinosaurs” is one of the Mindful Play Resources, developed by Karen Gilles-Reid (Proprietor of Warrior Heart Wellbeing Services), and is a component of Holistic Emotional Affiliate Limbic Solutions (HEALS); a mindful self-regulatory approach to enhancing connection within valued relationships. If you want your preschool child to learn mindful self-soothing strategies, which increase capacity for co-operative behaviour, then this workshop may well be just what you’ve been looking for.
