About the Teacher: Venerable Pasanna uses they/them pronouns. They are a fully ordained Buddhist monastic and alms mendicant in the Australian Forest Tradition. They took novice ordination in 2019 and full ordination in 2021 at Dhammasara Monastery with Ajahn Brahm and Ajahn Hāsapanna as preceptors.

Their passion for the early Buddhist texts is at the core of their practice. They help to co-ordinate and facilitate events for Rainbodhi LGBTQIA+ Buddhist community, and are a member of the management team on the SuttaCentral discussion forum.

They were born in Amsterdam, grew up predominantly in Adelaide, Australia and currently reside at Khemāloka Vihāra, a residence of Santi Forest Monastery in NSW, Australia.
