We warmly invite you to join us for a special afternoon of conversation, insight and community in support of the people of Myanmar.

We are honoured to welcome podcaster, Joah McGee from Insight Myanmar Podcast and Better Burma, who will share his first-hand experiences and insights from his humanitarian work in Myanmar.

The program will also feature a special LIVE podcast conversation with Bhante Sujato, exploring compassion in action, ethical engagement, and how we can support genuine humanitarian efforts, followed by an open Q&A and discussion.

All proceeds will go towards life-saving humanitarian aid, supporting food, shelter, healthcare, clean water, education and emergency relief in Myanmar.

Better Burma is a US-based non-profit dedicated to standing with the people of Myanmar in their pursuit of peace, justice, and sustainable development. Better Burma provides humanitarian aid, advocates for human rights, and works to amplify local voices and initiatives.

The Insight Myanmar Podcast was launched in 2019 to share about meditative traditions in the Golden Land. It explored the role of Buddhism and monasticism within Burmese society, history, and culture. The podcast platform has expanded to respond to the current crisis in Myanmar, and while a Buddhist perspective continues to be explored with guests from that background, episodes reflect the full range of diversity of the country, its cultures, its religions and its peoples.
