What is Metta Festival?

We host Metta Festivals to celebrate the diversity of cultures and practices in Buddhism, bringing together friends and family from the various Buddhist traditions. The festivities include talks, performances, stalls, food and building community.

Metta Festival 2022

We put on an extraordinary show at the Byran Brown Theatre, where audiences experienced the cultural diversity that make up Buddhism in Australia and around the world.

Metta Festival 2025

As part of our 10 year anniversary celebrations, we hosted the Metta Festival in Burwood Park starting with pindapata along Burwood Road into the park, followed by blessing chants, performances, meditation, stalls and picnic in the park.
