The Pondering Tree Sutta

July 14, 2018 @ 2:00 pm - 4:00 pm

Hidden in plain sight this teaching from the historical Buddha makes clear how the mind works, what you have to do, and the refutes quietism (peace of mind) as an insubstantial goal. Now, if this seems a little strange, you know why this important teaching is overlooked. But be assured we will quickly make sense of it.

About the teacher

Venerable Pandit is a British monk ordained in Thailand since 1996. He has a degree in psychology and in Buddhist Studies from the Thai monk’s university Mahaculalongkorn, just outside Bangkok. He runs the little Bangkok Sangha, which is the only English speaking group in Bangkok for Theravada Buddhism. As a practiced public speaker, his talks will be easy to follow, clear and precise.
