During Ven. Vimokkha’s trip in Sydney from Thailand, he will be leading a residential two-day meditation retreat at the peaceful grounds of the Karuna Sanctuary in the Blue Mountains, exploring the practices of Samatha and Vipassana. Seeing into the nature of mind is the pragmatic approach for those practioners in any method of meditation practice to be aware and conscious along the practice and daily life’s activity. Without seeing into the nature of mind, one is practicing for nothing. Seeing into the nature of mind is what one should always realise as a way of life and practice for the achievement of the enlightenment in this very life.

Ven. Vimokkha will be guiding us how to turn inwards seeing the nature of mind with simple techniques for us to wake up and to experience by ourselves mindfully and consciously. It is the direct experience without words but with the spiritual guidance step by step by the Venerable.

In addition, this retreat will feature a special Sacred Candlelight Procession Puja to celebrate Vesak Day. Join the retreat and immerse yourself in the serene atmosphere of candlelit prayers, meditation sessions, and dhamma teachings.

There is no set cost to the event, and participants are welcome to make a donation towards the expenses of the event. If participants wish to offer dana, please email us at contact@mettacentre.com.

Registration is essential as we have limited spots. If you register and then are no longer able to come, please ensure that you inform us so we can give your spot to someone else.
