It has been quite a year for the Metta Centre! We have hosted countless events at our centre and also in the local libraries. We have hosted teachers local to Australia and overseas. We have supported other organisations to help host their events at our centre. We have had regular attendees at our weekly events: Tuesday Buddhism classes, and at our Thursday and Sunday yoga classes. We have started our fortnightly Friday meditation classes and continued our monthly meditation and qigong classes. Every week, we are hosting events at the Campsie and Chester Hill libraries, and every quarter at the Bankstown libraries. For a small charity such as ours, this is a huge undertaking and we thank all of our amazing volunteers and all of our attendees for their support throughout the year! In gratitude for our volunteers and attendees, you are all invited to our Annual Celebratory Lunch! Feel free to bring a plate of food if you like, bring along some friends (even if they’ve never been to the Metta Centre!) and enjoy the company of good Dhamma friends!
