In this seven-week yoga course, participants will learn and practice Hatha yoga, starting at the beginner level and slowly increasing in intensity and difficulty as the course progresses.
Hatha Yoga is the traditional Yoga method practice based on “Ashtanga Yoga” or “Raja Yoga” of Patanjali and is the foundation of most yoga styles. Areas of emphasis include flexibility, core strength, hip opening and arm balances, with the principle of “stillness within the stillness” in mind.
Sessions are facilitated by Joe Le, who completed his yoga teacher training (YTT) in India. Each session will run for approximately 1.5 hours and will start at 9am on Sunday mornings to help you round-off your weekend and prepare yourself for the new week ahead. Although participation in the every session is not required to complete the course, but it is recommended.
