Questions as Gateways: how to ask Questions for Spiritual Insights

Speaker: Tina Ng

Mon 27 May | 6.30-8pm AEST

Location: In person at Western Sydney University (74 Rickard Rd, Bankstown City Campus), Room 1.4.34 on level 4 or Online (Zoom link below)

Cost: Free

In this class we will explore ways we use questions to skillfully navigate through tricky conversations with others, and also use questions for ourselves to awaken our own spiritual insights. In Buddhist practice, we use questions in a variety of ways depending on the Buddhist tradition. For example, we may use a Koan to break through our conceptual thinking, or we may drop a question into our meditation when our minds are quiet and clear, so as to allow the answer or deep insights to surface. Join us for this interactive session where participants will be guided through meditation, exercises, and role plays as the audience offer real life scenarios for the group to consider. These classes are a safe space for participants to share what they are going through and therefore the class is not recorded.
